Legacy and Planned Giving
Leave Mission to Missionaries a planned gift in your will
Gifts by will are one of Mission to Missionaries' most important sources of support. Unrestricted gifts give us the greatest flexibility to use funds where they are most needed. You may leave Mission to Missionaries:
A stated dollar amount
A percentage of your residual estate (what remains after gifts to loved ones and expenses have been paid)
A specific asset, such as securities or other marketable property
Include Mission to Missionaries in your IRA Charitable Rollovers
If you are 70½ years old or older, you can take advantage of a simple way to benefit Mission to Missionaries and receive tax benefits in return. You can give any amount up to $100,000 per year from your IRA directly to a qualified charity such as Mission to Missionaries without having to pay income taxes on the money. This popular gift option is commonly called the IRA charitable rollover, but you may also see it referred to as a qualified charitable distribution, or QCD for short.
A QCD is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA custodian, payable to a qualified charity. QCDs can be counted toward satisfying your required minimum distributions (RMDs) for the year, as long as certain rules are met.
Please contact us for details or to inform us of your planned gift or IRA rollover.
